About us

AJM Interiors Sdn Bhd is located at Jalan Mahararajalela, Kuala Lumpur. We are closely affliated with Akitek Jururancang (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (AJM), a group of companies established in respond to the rapid urbanisation and regional development of Peninsular Malaysia.

Our philosophy is to provide comprehensive professional and excellence design with minimum costs whilst maintaining the highest standard and efficient design.

We are specialists in providing interior design and other services that related to interior design (refer to our services available) with over 15 years of experience in this field.

Our interior designers posses considerable experience from local project and abroad. Their exposure to work in many different country enable them to contribute their individial expertise where required in any projects.

INTERIOR DESIGNER

(To be based in Kuala Lumpur)

Requirements:

Bachelor of Degree in Interior Design with at least 3 years relevant experience with interior design and / or architecture firm.

Proficiency in design software is an advantage (Adobe Illustrators, 3D Max, VIZ and etc.)

Able to think out-of-the-box, express creativity, accustomed to high demands and changing requests plus to demonstrate the ability to work to high standards within deadlines.

Good communication and creative presentation skills.

Strong leadership and project management skills.

Able to work independently with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities:

Directing teams to produce high quality, innovation design solutions for our clients.

Responsible for handling project through all phases, successfully conveying design intent to clients during presentations, provides direct design representation to clients.

Designing to target budget and quality, negotiate pricing, preparation of tender documentation (i.e. specification, BoQ and etc.), tender evaluation, establishing materials database.

Work with Project Manager to provide ongoing design contract management with emphasis on fulfillment of scope of work, approved alterations to contract, compliance/ re-negotiation of deadlines and verification of final account.
